Something serious

Something nice going on here. After a nap after a dinner seems to change everything. xD. Yep. I took a nap after my dinner. Then I go online and suddenly I thought of checking my Monash email. The university used to send a lot of emails which I don't read. Such as those monthly update about what the university is doing and stuff. However, I got an email with the subject "Invitation to Woman in ICT lunch". I thought it was some bulk mail again. But when I open the email, this is what written in it:

Dear Kit Ming

In recognition of your outstanding results we would like to invite you
to attend the "Round-Table Networking" lunch organised by the Victorian
ICT for Women Network. This is a great opportunity for you to meet and
network with experienced women in the ICT industry. The Round-Table
Lunch event will be held on Thursday 27th August. The details are:

*Date:* Thursday , 27th August 2009
*Time:* 12:00pm to 14:00pm
*Venue:* 'Clarendon Room', Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank

*Cost:* $20.0 per head but the Faculty will cover the cost.

I didn't realize until i re-read the email by starting with "Dear Kit Ming". So it was for me!!!Not some kind of bulk bill or anything. This sounds great isn't it?xD. It makes me a great opportunity to talk to those women before getting into the real industry. And most importantly, someone actually has been looking at my result!!!Wahahahahaha. I think I'll keep smiling even I fall asleep tonight. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yooohooo~~~I had been slacking a while during my holidays. xD. Lazy on everything. Not blogging, not studying, and not socialing. Wakaka. Kinda anti-social these days. But don't worry. The feeling is fading off. I'm going back to the same old me sooner or later. Had been thinking a lot lately. But don't ask me what I thought. Cause I forgot. xD

Well well well. Whenever I blog, there is always something nice that I want to share. And this time is food again. The last time I blog about food was my sushi if I'm not mistaken. And I haven't been making any sushi this year. LoL. Not phobia. But we just prefer to buy instead of make. Back to my main purpose. The main character this time is:

BAN MEE!!!

I kinda miss ban mee a lot. BoBo. T.T. I'm gonna eat BoBo until I vomit when I'm home this time.

(brain: But there were a lot of things that you said you wanna eat during the time you go home. You will be fat.

Me: Really? It seems to be. But I really miss those foods a lot. And Penang. T.T

brain: But it affect your body weight. You blame me everytime after you had too much.

Me: Grrrr. Who cares. You are mine. There's nothing wrong if I blame you. NO ONE STOP ME FROM EATING!!!!)

Okay okay. I know I crap a lot. Yeah yeah. I know I haven't been normal. So just don't say I'm siao. And you guys doesn't seems to be normal as long as I know you. (You know who you are) LoL.

Okay Okay. Going into the main point now. What makes BAN MEE? Flour la of course. Just that with the addition of water, egg and some oil. xD Doubt it? Don't la. I'm experienced maker okay. Really don't believe? Here comes the evidence.

Nice? I know it is. xD. And sorry about the other yolk. It just breaks on its own. LoL. And don't secretly peek on my Kahlua okay? It is for Tiramisu. Not ban mee. Focus on my bowl of flour!!!

This is the final product. I can't take any picture during the mixing process as I'm using my hand to do all the mixing. And my hand is super duper clean!!! I washed it 3 times before I actually touch the mixing. Wakakaka. And meanwhile mixing the ingredients, I watched 3 episodes of Burning Flame III. But I prefer 王老虎搶親 compare to Burning Flame III. Its getting more and more boring. xD

Okay Okay. Back to my purpose lo. So mean la you guys. Let me say something also cannot. Haiz. What kinda world is this. >.<

Naah. This is the finished product. I don't wanna show you guys too much incase you just steal my recipe.

Yeah. I'm a little bit hyper active when I type this post. Just don't know why. And I think there is no why. As long as you enjoy I enjoy, everyone enjoy. LoL.

LOH BAO!!!

I find it quite funny. Can't I make myself looks better? I actually found myself a part time job last week. Promoter stuff or something like that. I was told that the working day is on Fri and Sat and working hour is 12pm to 6pm. And the pay was AUD$50 + commission ($1 for every card you sell?). That sounds pretty ok right? Other than the pay is really quite low. So I decided to give it a try when the manager sent me a message asking me whether I'm available to work or not.

But what happens next is, I receive another message from the manager. CC to me and another promoter, telling both of us that the other girl will be working on the first and third week of every month meanwhile I work on second and fourth week of every month. I don't really feel happy about it of course. But I was considering to stop working there if this situation continue. (As in I only work for the second and the fourth week.)

Then earlier today, I went to their booth to take a look what I should do and everything. When I arrive, the booth is actually a small stand inside a VCD shop. But yet, I thought of giving the job a try until the "senior" told me that I only work on Thursday instead of Fri and Sat.

Didn't it sounds stupid? Pay is low, and the timetable sucks. So I decided to give up already. And when I walk out of that place, I wanted to inform someone about my decision and I start to type that message immediately and send it out. I forgot that I sent some message to that promoter before this. And just like what you guys are thinking, I sent to the wrong person. I sent that message to that promoter once I step out from that building. >.<

And she called me instantly. But I accidentally hang up on her call as I was trying to cancel the previous message. Oh my god. This is such a disaster. And I have to send another message to her immediately telling her I sent her the wrong message. Damn fish. I really feel like hiding myself in a hole now. And I don't wanna go into that building anymore.>.<

Time being s*h**

Its 5am in the morning. Its freezing outside. Bee Kuan and I just reach home. No. We didn't go clubbing nor "wet". We went to Sheng Jie's house where we watch the super boring Night at The Museum 2. I had that copy of movie with me. (It is my copy actually. Just that I copy to Sheng Jie's harddisk) Why are we watching the movie in his house? Thats because Bee Kuan is leaving to Brisbane tomorrow. So we thought of having some time together and chat a little bit.

After finishing the movie, it was 3am in the morning. Bee Kuan and I planned not to sleep for today actually since she is leaving tomorrow. However, that movie is really boring. It makes both me and Bee Kuan feel sleepy. And in the end, we decided to head home and sleep. It was Sunday night when we went out. Melbourne has the night rider bus service during Saturday and Sunday between 12.30am and 4.30am.

We walked for 15 minutes and arrived at the bus station at last. Then we took 15 minutes again to find out which bus should we take in order to reach my house. Yes!!!Found it out at last. Its...errr....bus number 980. It was 4.15am by then. The bus should be arriving at 4.30am according to schedule. So we went to 7-11 to buy for a drink.

Then we went back to the bus station and wait. Tik tok tik tok~~~(time passes). Its 4.30am. No sign of bus coming. Look again at the notice board. Yeah. Saturday and Sunday mornings. Then I turned to Bee Kuan and asked......."Is today counted as Monday morning?"

Yes. We messed up SUNDAY MORNING and MONDAY MORNING. We ended up going home by the most expensive transportation. The taxi that cost us AUD$10. Never forget the morning. The winter wind in Melbourne kills. T.T

I'm back~~~

Hey guys. I'm back. Been missing for some time as I'm busy with my assignments and exams. Well, its not that I finished my exams. Its morning now and I just finish doing some notes in my study materials. It has been some tiring weeks for me. I feel like vomitting words out of my mouth after I finish the past 2 exams. LoL. Okay. I can't vomit words. But I do feel like vomitting after I finish my exams. And I vomitted after I finish my first exam. The feeling is awkward and yucks~~~

Guess everything will be fine after Friday. My reborn day. This semester is just so stress for me. Everything technical, business stuff(yes, I hate it), I.E project. Its lucky that I can keep everything running until this semester actually ended. And after this semester, I will make everyone envy me. Because I will be getting only 2 units next semester and only 1 unit has exam. Hohoho. xD

Oh yeah. Faye Wong has a collection album released today. Yesterday? Yeah. Yesterday. The name of the album is 阿菲正傳. Its a 3 CDs and 1 DVD that has 48 old songs of her. I "grab" it online just now while I'm having some break time in between my studies. Faye Wong is just so great. I think she is still the most legendary female singer in Chinese industry. You might not agree. But I insist. xD. Its nice to listen back to some old songs that accompany us during our growing process. "Grab" it fast. LoL.

And if anyone of you happen to have these 2 songs by Faye Wong, 償還 and 郵差 please do not hesitate and send it to me through email. I know you guys will surely have my email. I'm waiting for you~~~xD

I remember I saw some news stating that Hebe is duetting with 陳姍妮 in her new album. I tried to search for that song for quite long. They purposely announce that there is another female voice in this song that sing with 陳姍妮. But they didn't announce who. They want the audience to guess themselves. Its hard to recognize Hebe's voice in this song. 陳姍妮's voice is so special and Hebe actually changed her way of singing in this song. Its nice and "calmful". **At least it works for me when I'm too tense studying just now.**

I searched through Youtube. They got the music video. Nice songs. All 49 songs are freaking nice for me. Music Banzai~~~Yeah. I only listen. LoL

Tough week

You guys know what? I had a bounce back document from my manager(tutor) today. The unit was the Industrial Experience unit that I mentioned last time. Yeah. Normal group problem. Project manager is not doing his job good enough to get the team working. And of course, I took over. Erhem erhem (act a bit sin).

We have to hand in a few documentation throughout the semester and coding next semester. We got a C(Credit) for the first one. Not bad isn't it? Then we got a P+(Pass) for the second one. DISASTER!!!I haven't get any documentation lower than grade C every since I left Sri Garden.

Well, fine. We will just do better for the next one. That is what I told myself all these while and to the team when we first get back our document.What happens to the third one then? Obviously. It got BOUNCED BACK. Our manager don't even want to mark it. He said that it will be definitely low marks if we are handing that version up.

The team went to meet him today. Our report comes with 15 pages. The first thing he said was: "Your actual functional requirement report should be 3 times for what you guys are having now." Gosh!!!I'm so tense right now. I have one assignment to hand in on Monday. UNIX on tuesday, meeting with our client the same day and this IE has to be finish on Wednesday.

And for god's sake, I haven't been touching on my LINUX networking settings yet.God bless me please. I don't want to be ordinary person who gets ordinary grade.Not with all the expectations and promises I made to those who I love~~~
